Maps by Eric Fischer
Erik Fischer creates interesting maps combining city layouts with social media; his maps and much more can be found here http://www.flickr.com/photos/walkingsf/ With the maps he shows the use of space by tourists versus local people or the use of the city by different ethnicities. These are just 2 examples, I'm sure that many more interesting combinations can be found!

public art
De sculptures made by Tom Otterness (USA) on the seafront in Scheveningen are my favourites, how funny to come across similar figures in a subwaystation (14th Street–Eighth Avenue New York City Subway) called "Life underground", however this movie about the sculptures during the redevelopment on the seafront is excellent and funny! Reuse #69

Topos 69 presents examplary re-use strategies and projects from all over the world, some of them I visited recently: The High Line, NYC (opened last summer), Utopia in Green and Blue: The new urban development Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm, Duisburg-Nord Landscape Park a.o.
It seems a very interesting issue with example projects that are well integrated in the urban fabric.
